Do you want to work as an auto body technician in a secure and forward-looking workshop chain? Werksta Häggvik is now looking for an engaged and skilled auto body technician who wants to contribute to high-quality repairs, an efficient repair flow, and a good team climate. As an auto body technician at Werksta Häggvik, you perform sheet metal work on passenger and transport vehicles according to manufacturer instructions and workshop guidelines. You work in close cooperation with painters, damage inspectors, and service advisors to ensure a smooth and quality-assured repair flow and that vehicles are restored to meet customer and manufacturer requirements.
Perform sheet metal repairs: disassembly, straightening, replacement, and modification of body panels
Forming and welding techniques, as well as using the right tools for repairs and reassembly
Collaborate with painters to prepare parts for painting and ensure a good fit
Follow manufacturer instructions, repair methods, and document work in the workshop system
Ensure quality through inspection and measurement, and handle any complaints in consultation with the team
Maintain order in the workshop, follow occupational health and safety routines, and handle materials in an environmentally correct manner
Education or documented experience as an auto body technician in the automotive industry
Good knowledge of sheet metal repair techniques, welding, and use of tools for bodywork
Experience reading and following repair instructions and drawings
Precise, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented
Ability to collaborate in a team and work structured independently
Category B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
Engaged and responsible with a focus on quality in the work performed
Structured and solution-oriented with a desire to contribute to a positive team climate
Flexible and service-oriented, confident in customer-facing situations when needed
