Job Description

We are now looking for a workshop blacksmith for our client in Alingsås. You will manufacture steel structures according to drawings. You will be involved in the entire process from the steel arriving at the workshop until it is ready to be delivered to the customer. You will work with manual welding using metal powder-filled wire, cutting, and drilling of materials. You will also perform quality checks and ensure that the products meet the customer's high-quality standards. The client operates during daytime hours, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

To fit into the role of workshop blacksmith, you need to be a team player who is passionate about maintaining high quality. Furthermore, we see that you are meticulous, social, and a problem solver. Finally, you are someone who is open to developing and streamlining workflows.

Requirements:

• Driving license B
• Workshop experience
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Forklift and crane license
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience with wire welding
• Experience working with quality systems (preferably EN-1090)
• Welding certification/welding test certificate
• Cranes license for yard crane
