Sockermajas Bistro in Amhult is now looking for a baker/pastry chef to work with us this summer. We would also appreciate if you have some experience in simple cold kitchen tasks, such as sandwich making, preparing salads, etc.

We offer a flexible summer job where you will work in a small team providing bread, pastries, breakfast, and lighter lunches to our guests at Sockermajas Bistro. We also supply our sister business in Hönö Klåva with treats throughout the summer.

Who are we looking for?

You are a trained baker/pastry chef (or cold kitchen worker) or are currently training and/or have experience working as a baker/pastry chef. Since we are a relatively small operation, it is important that you excel in customer service, as you will also handle the cash register, customers, and the café from time to time. A requirement is that you can communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, and that you can arrive at work early as we start baking around 5:00 AM. You must also be able to work from the beginning of June to mid/late August, especially during weeks 27-32.
