MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WITH TEAM LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES AT PROFILGRUPPEN

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

For our Extrusions business unit, we are currently seeking an engaged and driving Maintenance Engineer with team lead responsibilities. In this new role, you will be involved in the strategic work of implementing and evaluating new technologies and maintenance systems. You will also coordinate maintenance activities and develop technical solutions that both improve daily operations and prevent potential future problems.

By combining strategic work with operational engagement, you will ensure an efficient and long-term sustainable operation that is constantly evolving. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work on analyzing and prioritizing corrective maintenance as well as reinvestment needs in our facilities.

Together with the Maintenance Manager, you will also be responsible for annual planning, budgeting, and follow-up of preventive maintenance for our machines. The role includes team lead responsibilities for the maintenance mechanics belonging to the maintenance department. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager in the Extrusions business unit. You can expect a calm and methodical manager and a leadership style characterized by freedom under responsibility.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Ability to work strategically but also operationally when needed
• Technical education at university level or equivalent work experience
• Good leadership skills; experience in project and people management is an asset
• Goal- and result-oriented
• Ability to work cross-functionally

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience in maintenance and good knowledge in areas such as hydraulics, mechanics, spare parts management, maintenance processes, and maintenance systems. You are the right person for the role if you are driven and results-focused and understand the importance of achieving set goals together with your colleagues in collaboration with the rest of the organization.

Furthermore, you are skilled at prioritizing, have an analytical mindset, and are flexible and communicative in your working style. We expect you to have good IT skills.
