RESPONSIBILITIES

As a pipe layer/installer in Uppvidinge Municipality, you will have a varied and practical job with regular working hours. You will work with installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems for water, sewage, and stormwater in the municipality's streets and facilities.

The work includes both planned assignments and urgent interventions that contribute to ensuring a safe and stable technical infrastructure. You will participate in the municipality's renewal work of the pipeline network.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• troubleshooting, service, and urgent measures
• participation in new installations and renovations
• collaboration with colleagues and other professional groups with a focus on quality, safety, and good service

The working hours are primarily during the day, and on-call duty every sixth week is included in the position within the water and sewage treatment plant. During the winter months, you will also participate in snow removal.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Construction technical education or equivalent experience
• Driver's license B
• Experience in pipe or construction work

Meritorious:

• Safety on the road
• Welding of PE pipes
• Marking responsibility
• Driver's license BE and C
• Loader certification
• Leak detection training
• Certified pipe layer
• Experience in welding and processing stainless steel

OTHER

If you are selected for employment, the employer will request an extract from the criminal record. The municipal council has decided that all new hires must present a criminal record extract before employment. The extract to be presented is the one for work within schools or preschools.
