Production Advisor for Östersund, Sundsvall, and Bollnäs

About the Role

As a Production Advisor, you will actively work on developing agricultural businesses focused on milk and meat production. Växa's mission is to provide advisory services in feed, production economics, animal welfare, and management. You will also be part of our Sustainability team.

Your primary responsibilities will involve on-site advisory work with our customers, primarily dairy farms. You will be active in development and support regarding feeding, feed planning, production economics, logistics, pasture management, milk quality, technology, and animal welfare. As part of our sustainability team, you will help shape the future of sustainable agriculture. Part of this advisory work may be conducted through our agreement with Arla, where we are tasked with proposing measures to reduce the farm's carbon footprint.

Other duties may include conducting courses for farmers, managing and participating in various development projects, and working within "Greppa Näringen" (Grasp Agriculture) and other commissioned assignments from authorities such as the County Administrative Board.

Together with the rest of Växa Sweden's staff, including livestock technicians, breeding advisors, animal health veterinarians, business advisors, and construction and crop advisors, we form teams around our customers to develop their businesses.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a Master of Agriculture (Lantmästare), Animal Husbandry Agronomist, or has equivalent academic education.
• Has excellent skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has a valid Class B driver's license.

It is a plus if you have:

• Practical experience from agriculture.
• Experience working as an advisor and/or salesperson in the industry.
• Knowledge in business economics and/or roughage production.

You will have a local team to rely on, but we expect you to take your own initiatives, have a sense of order, and work in a structured manner. The work is highly independent, requiring you to actively plan your customer visits. As a person, you are open and responsive with a clear business and customer focus. You find it easy to build good relationships and enjoy collaborating in a team.

The position is full-time. Salary according to agreement.
