Hedemora Health Center is located in Hedemora municipality and has approximately 9,400 registered patients. We have about 45 employees in various professional categories such as doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, therapists, medical secretaries, care/rehab coordinators, and physiotherapists.

Foot Care Specialist at Hedemora Health Center

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable foot specialist for a 50% position who wants to help develop our clinic!

As a foot care specialist with us, you will work according to current guidelines and procedures for managing patients with specific needs for medical foot care.

You will be an important part of a safe and competent team where we work together to provide our patients with high-quality, safe, and person-centered care. We are looking for someone who is passionate about foot-related treatment and preventive care - especially for patients with diabetes, circulation problems, or other risk factors.

Additional InformationQualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Education as a medical foot therapist/podiatrist, equivalent to at least 1-2 years of post-secondary education (e.g., YH education).
  • Certification in medical foot care is preferred.
  • Experience in primary care is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Good ability to work independently, structured, and with a professional demeanor.
  • Interest in working preventively and promoting patients' self-care.
