We are looking for a librarian for 30% at Drottning Blankas Gymnasieskola in Gävle.

Your assignment is based on the school's library plans and involves making the library a visible force even outside the library room itself.

Your main tasks will be to:

• Collaborate with teachers: Implement joint pedagogical projects in several subjects each academic year.
• Promote reading: Organize creative activities to increase students' desire to read.
• Strengthen media and information literacy (MIL) and digital competence: Conduct workshops on source criticism and information retrieval, as well as introduce digital tools for both students and staff.
• Drive student influence: Start and lead a library council that meets at least twice per semester.
• Ensure accessibility: Be responsible for the school's access to digital media.
• Maintain the collection: Continuously inventory and weed to ensure that the media is relevant to the school's specific programs.

Enjoys co-planning with teachers to make the library a natural part of the teaching.

The position will be 10%, depending on the candidate and conditions during recruitment.

The position is a permanent position. Employment will begin in the next academic year (August 26). We apply a probationary period of 6 months. Interviews will be conducted continuously.
