This is a technical specialist role for those who want to work at the intersection of advanced software and heavy industrial hardware. As a Digital Solution Specialist, you will be responsible for the technical configuration and system integration of intelligent monitoring solutions for advanced industrial systems.

About the position

Our client is a world-leading provider of equipment and service solutions for demanding industrial environments worldwide. To support its extensive installed base, the company has a dedicated Digital Development department. Here, the focus is on collecting and analyzing data from installed systems to maximize performance, anticipate maintenance needs, and optimize operational efficiency.

You will be part of an international team with colleagues based in various locations across Europe. Although the team works remotely, the culture is characterized by closeness, humility, and an open environment where "there are no stupid questions" – they believe in sharing knowledge and learning from each other. Your colleagues currently work as software developers and technical experts.

The work is both operational and strategic, focusing on technical delivery. The role acts as a bridge between the digital platform and the physical hardware; you configure systems, ensure communication, and provide technical support for both new installations and existing equipment. It is an unpretentious environment where the focus is on solving technical challenges through collaboration and in-depth system understanding.

Your main task is to ensure that the company's intelligent monitoring solutions are correctly configured and optimized for the customers' unique operating environments. The role serves as the link between the software platform and the physical equipment, where you take responsibility for both new installations and support of existing systems. In this role, you work methodically to solve problems in the communication chain and act as an important advisor to both the customer and the development team to continuously improve the product's performance.

Responsibilities

• Configure software parameters and alarm thresholds based on the unique hardware conditions.
• Perform network analysis and troubleshooting of communication protocols.
• Provide technical support during installations and commissioning, both remotely and through on-site visits.
• Contribute technical insights and requirements to software developers to optimize system functionality.
• Ensure technical documentation, configuration files, and stable system communication.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering.
• Has at least 3 years of work experience in technical projects, focusing on industrial automation or control technology.
• Possesses basic knowledge of PLC programming and the ability to read electrical schematics or CAD drawings to understand system architecture.
• Is fluent in English and has good knowledge of Swedish, as both languages are used in daily work.
