Ragn-Sells is one of Sweden's leading competence companies in recycling and the environment. We offer effective solutions to minimize, manage, and transform waste into resources. But working with us is about so much more than waste.
Our work contributes to a more sustainable society and a better environment for everyone. We are a values-driven company where care, respect, and collaboration are central to everything we do. With us, you have the opportunity to combine practical work with an important purpose: to take care of the environment and the future, together with engaged colleagues. We are now looking for Environmental Workers for our facility in Kallinge.
Job Responsibilities
As an environmental worker with us, you will play a central role in our treatment of hazardous waste. At the facility, we receive materials that are classified, sorted, and weighed. Your role primarily involves material handling and treatment of, for example, paint water and waste oil. In the role of environmental worker, you will be involved in several parts of the handling process, where you receive waste from our external partners, which is then sorted and weighed at the facility. Concurrently with your work, you will report the amount of waste in our system and manage inventory. You will also work with certain parts of our disposal, where you will help plan our deliveries and have contact with our transporters and receiving facilities.
Work location: Kallinge
Employment type: Project employment for 6 months, after which there are good opportunities for further employment directly with Ragn-Sells. Immediate start.
Working hours: Weekdays 7-16
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who shares our values and wants to be part of our team where collaboration, responsibility, and a positive attitude are valued. As a person, we see that you are self-driven and enjoy working in a service-oriented manner and creating good relationships with colleagues and customers. We also see that you have a B driver's license, forklift license, computer skills, high school education, and fluent skills in both written and spoken Swedish. It is advantageous if you have a C driver's license, ADR certificate, and/or wheel loader license. If you also have experience in the waste and transport industry or knowledge of the Waste Ordinance and Environmental Code, we consider that a merit.
As a person, you have a structured way of working, are meticulous, and enjoy having varied tasks. You like to take responsibility and be involved in daily planning, while also being communicative and enjoying contact with multiple parties.
What do we offer?
- Work in one of Sweden's most important industries.
- A pleasant workplace with experienced and competent colleagues.
- Of course, good employment conditions with collective agreements, pension, and wellness benefits, etc.
