We are looking for three forestry consultants in advisory roles focused on considerate forest management for the forests of the future.

We offer placement within Region Mitt: Karlstad/Torsby, Gävle, and Nyköping.

The role of a forestry consultant is a varied job with stimulating tasks and opportunities for professional development. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting advisory activities.

We operate over larger geographical areas, so the job requires that you can travel and sometimes stay overnight in other locations.

Your Responsibilities

Your tasks will primarily be within our advisory operations, currently focusing on considerate forest management for the climate of the future. Our advisory services are largely conducted digitally via Teams, but physical meetings in the field are also a natural format. Other tasks may include participation in projects and assignments. The job involves contacts with forest owners, forestry companies, the public, and other authorities.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a forestry degree. You have good knowledge of forest management and forestry-related climate issues. Previous experience in forestry work is an advantage. We also prefer candidates with knowledge in pedagogy and digital course operations.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. The job requires you to be proactive and able to drive various activities, as well as being able to work independently and in a structured manner. Building and maintaining contacts is important for the job. You have good collaboration skills.

You should have basic knowledge of IT/GIS. A manual B driver's license is required.

Our Offer to You

We offer a permanent position at 100%, starting with a 6-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement. Please indicate your preferred location (Karlstad/Torsby, Gävle, or Nyköping) in your application.
