JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As service personnel, you are an important asset to healthcare. Depending on which workplace you are at, your tasks will vary.

The summer jobs available to apply for are:

• Driver transporting samples, medications, textiles, and materials between hospitals and health centers in the region, based at Sigfridsområdet in Växjö.
• Chef working with meal preparation for patients and guests in the restaurants, in both Växjö and Ljungby.
• Kitchen assistant working with setting tables for patients, serving, and dishwashing, in both Växjö and Ljungby.
• Cleaner at the hospitals in Växjö and Ljungby, at one of our health centers around the region, or at the specialist psychiatric and forensic psychiatric regional clinic at Sigfridsområdet.
• Support administrator receiving incoming calls to Region Kronoberg and staffing the hospital reception, based at the hospital in Växjö.
• Transporter transporting patients between departments and clinics at the hospital in Växjö.
• Custodian maintaining the exterior care of green areas around the hospitals in Växjö.
• Custodian handling the transport of goods and materials, waste management, and mail handling as well as some inventory management at the hospital in Växjö and Ljungby.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a chef, you need to have a high school diploma in restaurant/food. For other positions, it is an advantage if you have a high school diploma, for example, with a focus on sales/service, vehicle/transport, or from a college preparatory program. You must be at least 18 years old by the time you start working.

What we consider important and will value is that you have a good attitude, enjoy providing good service, are responsible, meticulous, have good teamwork skills, and have good physical fitness. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in speaking, reading comprehension, and writing.

Based on what you are applying for, it is advantageous if you have previously worked with similar tasks.
