During the summer, we have an increased need for support in our operations, and therefore we are looking for a replacement for the summer period who can cover and help maintain a high level of service.

Your role as a Warehouse and Logistics Assistant involves supporting the company's daily warehouse and logistics operations. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring a correct flow of goods and documentation as well as collaborating with other departments. The purpose of the role is to ensure efficient warehouse operations and timely deliveries.

Your tasks will include:

1. Receiving and issuing goods:

• Handling incoming and outgoing deliveries.
• Checking goods against documentation (quantity and quality).
• Storing goods according to established procedures.

2. Order picking:

• Preparing goods for delivery according to customer orders.
• Ensuring correct labeling and safe packaging of shipments.

3. Handling warehouse documentation:

• Issuing warehouse documents (inbound and outbound deliveries, internal transfers, reports).
• Data entry in the warehouse management system.

4. Collaboration with logistics and transport departments:

• Coordinating deliveries with courier companies and transport providers.
• Tracking shipments and handling delivery-related issues.

5. Customer contact regarding delivery coordination:

• Planning delivery dates and terms with customers.
• Communicating any changes, delays, or questions regarding order management.

6. Inventory control:

• Monitoring inventory levels and reporting shortages.

7. Maintaining order and safety in the warehouse:

• Following occupational health and safety regulations and warehouse standards.
• Ensuring that the warehouse is clean and safe and that the equipment is functioning correctly.

We expect you to have:

• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets
• Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
• Very good skills in Excel
• Knowledge of warehouse optimization
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Forklift license (full driving license for forklift)

The work is on-site in Åkersberga.
