We need to strengthen our maintenance operations with electricians for our operational maintenance team. SSAB offers you a flexible role where you have the chance to step into a global steel company and be part of the development of fossil-free steel. Location: Oxelösund.

About the position

The work as an operational electrician primarily involves preventive and improvement work at the facilities. However, troubleshooting and corrective actions are also part of the job.

The work also includes systematic efforts for continuous improvements.

You will be part of a team with strong team spirit and competent colleagues, which creates the best conditions for ensuring high operational stability in both facilities and production equipment. The operations are very varied, giving you great opportunities to develop and grow both personally and professionally.

Working hours are daytime, 07:00-16:00 Monday-Thursday, 07:00-15:00 Friday.

Your main responsibilities

  • Work with preventive and corrective measures at the facilities belonging to Metallurgy
  • Feedback to technicians/planners on completed work.

About you

  • You have a high school diploma in electrical engineering or equivalent vocational training.
  • You are flexible, service-oriented, organized, and meticulous, and understand the importance of the group's collective effort.
  • You have a strong safety mindset and always prioritize safety, both for yourself and your colleagues.
  • You want to learn new things, find it easy to collaborate with other professional groups, and seek help when needed.
  • You have good technical knowledge and the ability to perform maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
  • A valid driver's license (B) is required.
