Welcome to Finnlines! We are a stable shipping company that has expanded in recent years with new vessels and new routes. Our home port is Malmö, and we operate 4 Swedish-flagged vessels.
We are currently looking for 2nd Engineers for our Swedish-flagged vessels for the spring and summer. We have good schedules with 2 port calls per day.
You enjoy working within an experienced team in the engine department that is challenged to find solutions and like being in an environment where a lot is happening. We have a great crew on board who roll up their sleeves when needed. The ferry traffic is generally fast-paced.
On board, we have four engineering officers, an electrical engineer, and 4 crew positions.
Reporting is done continuously to the technical manager on board. Swedish is a requirement to work on board, but you should also be fluent in English.
You have a few years of experience and can quickly adapt to the work.
The rotation system is 2-2-2-4 or 2-3.
We apply a probationary period. We are looking for both permanent positions and temporary positions, and the positions are filled continuously, so do not hesitate to apply immediately.
