We are now looking for an Electrical Engineer for Finnlines vessels based in Malmö

We are seeking an electrical engineer for a temporary position and/or permanent employment for our Swedish-flagged vessels.

Working on board means full-time with a rotation of 2 weeks on board, 2 weeks off, 2 weeks on board, and 4 weeks off.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in electrical engineering work on larger vessels.

You are curious, persistent, and committed to troubleshooting and solving electrical/electronic problems that arise.

You can work both independently and in a team, as well as interact with colleagues and supervisors professionally.

You communicate easily and are meticulous and attentive. You take initiative and can work under sometimes high pressure.

We prefer candidates with a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent education.

Required certifications include: Ship Electrician, medical certificate for seafarers, seaman's book, Basic Safety Training, and Basic Maritime Security, as well as Crowd Management.

It is an advantage if you have previously served on Ro-Ro or Ro-Pax vessels.

Our corporate language is English, so we expect you to have good English skills. Swedish is a requirement.
