Gysinge Herrgård has attracted visitors for centuries – and we understand why. Here, history and nature meet in a unique interplay by the banks of the Dalälven River. With 67 hotel rooms, a restaurant, café, and conference facilities, we offer our guests something extraordinary.
Do you want to cook in an environment where both ingredients and surroundings are of high quality? Gysinge Herrgård is now looking for summer substitute cooks for the 2026 season. We serve lunch, à la carte, booked dinners, and weddings in a unique manor house setting by the Dalälven.
What does the role entail?
As a cook, you will work with preparation, cooking, and plating according to our menus and concepts. You will be part of a close-knit team that is passionate about quality, pace, and taste experiences. We are looking for someone who is flexible and enjoys collaborating – whether it’s a wedding for 80 guests or lunch for two.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has culinary training or experience from an à la carte kitchen
- Is self-sufficient, solution-oriented, and able to handle stress
- Has a good understanding of hygiene and kitchen routines
- Is flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends
Good to know:
- Summer substitute position with varying hours
- Working hours: day, evening, and weekend
- Start date by agreement
- Collective agreement via HRF
