We are now looking for a Night Receptionist at Scandic Bollnäs.

What does the role entail?

As a night receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring that the guest is always the focus. You make sure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution up your sleeve. You solve most issues and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, security work, and sales tasks.

The work in the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You handle bookings in the Opera Cloud system and manage administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.

Who are you?

To fit into this role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and are capable of handling many different things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

You also have experience and knowledge in working with a computer as a work tool.

Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.

However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit into the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
