Service Unit

Our unit consists of about ten employees with different tasks and roles.

The philosophy we work by is that every employee's contribution is equally important and also a prerequisite for our unit to be 'one' unit. One of our goals is to ensure that coming to work is a positive experience.

In 2026, we face an exciting future as we will be moving to new premises during the year. The execution of tasks may therefore change based on the conditions of the new premises.

Job Responsibilities

The tasks are performed according to clear established cleaning instructions and weekly schedules but may vary depending on what happens in the business over time. The work is carried out in one or more of our centrally located premises in Uppsala.

The position includes common tasks within cleaning for office spaces and includes, for example:

  • Daily cleaning of office spaces, pantries, dining rooms, and kitchens
  • Daily cleaning of other common areas
  • Floor care, dusting, and waste management
  • Responsibility for cleaning products and equipment
  • Refilling of consumables
  • Cleaning coffee machines

Qualifications

We hope that you who apply for the position with us intend for it to be a job you want for a longer period.

You should have at least one year of current experience in a service profession/customer service with direct contact with customers. It is an advantage if you have current and several years of experience as a cleaner and/or experience working within a government agency. It is also advantageous if you have experience with tasks performed independently.

You are meticulous, reliable, and have good teamwork skills. You should be self-sufficient in your daily work while seeing yourself as part of our team. Our new colleague should be attentive with the ability to follow written instructions, routines, as well as priorities and directives from the manager.

You represent the County Administrative Board in a trustworthy manner. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Conditions

The employment is permanent and starts with a six-month probationary period with immediate access. The extent is 75%. Your job title at the agency will be case officer. Security clearance with background checks will be conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) before a decision on employment is made. In some cases, Swedish citizenship is required.
