Welcome to our well-renowned and pleasant health care unit in central Malmö. We are located in the popular Slottstaden area with many nice lunch restaurants around the corner and the sea within walking distance. Currently, we have 45 employees from various professions and approximately 13,000 patients registered with us, including both elderly and families with children. We maintain good staffing levels and all patients have a designated responsible physician.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We now welcome a psychologist to Vårdcentralen Lundbergsgatan in Malmö. As a psychologist with us, you will work with assessments and treatments for our patients. This includes both traditional cognitive behavioral therapy and internet-based therapy. The clinical work varies according to the patient's needs, which can include everything from advisory conversations to therapies. We have a strong focus on achieving solid assessments for our patients and providing the right care based on the guidelines of the National Board of Health and Welfare. We work extensively with overarching knowledge of the various options available internally, within specialized care, and in society at large to help the patient in the best way possible to provide the right type of intervention at the right level.

We are two psychologists, working closely together, who operate based on CBT. In addition to independent patient work, the psychologists meet once a week for teamwork where we make an initial assessment and distribution of patient cases. Regular professional development occurs through internal, external, and digital training. We also meet for supervision once a month with an external authorized supervisor. At the health center, we have good cooperation between our various professions and have daily consultation time set aside for consultations with the doctors as well as a joint reception.

We adapt schedules according to individual needs as much as possible.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed psychologist with a focus on CBT and have the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. It is an advantage if you have previous work experience in primary care. Experience in starting and running groups and working cross-professionally is also considered advantageous.

As a person, you are proactive and have a strong interest in both development and learning, as well as primary care. You work both independently and in a group and see the value of good collaboration where you contribute to cooperation by sharing your knowledge and experiences. Your commitment and positive attitude contribute to a good working climate; together, we provide the best care for our patients. Personal suitability is highly valued.
