About the Role

As a summer temp, you will perform terminal work at our warehouses in Jönköping, Stigamo. Terminal work involves picking goods according to orders, packing goods, handling returns, or working with the intake and outtake of goods. We have tasks that include forklift driving, but also other tasks where you do not drive a forklift. As a terminal worker, you will report to the production team leader for the assignment in the relevant department.

We are looking for someone who:

• Masters Swedish in speech and writing, and understands instructions.
• Has education at the high school level, ongoing education, or equivalent work experience.
• Is at least 18 years old by week 23.*
• Is quality-conscious and used to working towards set goals.
• Has a good work ethic and contributes to a positive work environment.
• Is comfortable working varying hours, as shift work is included in our operations. Daytime as well as evening, both weekdays and weekends.

It is an advantage if you have a forklift driver's license A and B with driving experience, as well as experience in warehouse operations.

*The requirement that the applicant is at least 18 years old is based on the Work Environment Act (1977:1160) Chapter 2, Section 1 and Chapter 3, Section 2, as well as AFS 2012:3 regarding minors' work environment (Sections 8–14), since the tasks involve forklift driving, heavy lifting, and security-classified goods. This is a legitimate requirement according to the Discrimination Act (2008:567, Chapter 2, Section 2 a).

Employment is in accordance with the Transport Agreement with the employment form of summer temp/hourly employment. Salary is according to collective agreement and start date is by agreement. All our employees receive thorough training to ensure the best conditions for taking on their tasks.

For security reasons, we also conduct alcohol and drug tests through a partner.

For this position, a criminal record extract is required according to Section 1 of the Criminal Records Act (1998:620) since the work involves handling security-classified assignments and customers' valuable or sensitive goods. The extract must be presented before employment begins.
