Who are we looking for?

We are now looking for a passionate, curious, and enthusiastic Unit Manager who will build, inspire, and lead two teams where service spirit and teamwork are at the center, while maintaining a good customer relationship in close collaboration.

In the role of Unit Manager, you have the opportunity to influence and develop your workplace through good and clear leadership. You will be responsible for the unit's budget and results, both operationally and in terms of quality. You have full personnel responsibility and follow laws and routines as well as Compass Group's policies, rules, and values.

The position includes, among other things, responsibility for reporting to the nearest manager and the various functions of the head office. You will distribute and structure the daily operations and ensure a good working environment at the workplace. You will also develop and follow up the contract by defining and presenting new solutions based on the customer's needs and wishes.

About the workplace

Today, we are responsible for all cleaning services at Boliden's sites at the Rönnskär smelter and in the Boliden area with several surrounding locations. The workgroups operate in separate teams but with close collaboration to solve daily operations. In addition to cleaning, we operate Rönnskär's laundry and some freight transport. Our staff ensures that we clean every day of the year in an exciting and fast-paced environment. We are proud of our Swan certification and have several ISO certifications that we systematically follow up to meet our high standards for safety and quality.

Our top priority is safety, and since we operate in a heavy industry, certain training is required to work at the sites.

Who are you?

• You have at least three years of experience in a managerial position with contract, personnel, and result responsibility, preferably within support services.
• You are quality and results-oriented and enjoy finding solutions to daily challenges and like fast-paced days.
• You have good communication skills and speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
• You have the ability to plan and structure work effectively while maintaining a high level of service and quality in what you deliver.
• You are a natural leader and have the ability to coach, lead, and delegate work while translating thoughtful decisions into action.
• You are proactive, detail-oriented, attentive, and solution-focused.
• You have good knowledge of labor law and working environment.
• You are sales-oriented and know how to nurture and maintain good relationships with customers and employees.
• Experience in cleaning services is an advantage but experience in other support services is also welcome.
• You have good computer skills and good knowledge of Office365.
