We are looking for someone who has previously worked as an environmental caretaker and understands how important this role is for creating safety and comfort.

With us, you will ensure that the environmental rooms and the areas around them are intact, clean, and functioning as they should. You will patrol, maintain order, identify what needs to be done, and address it immediately. You will work closely with our area caretakers and facility technicians.

Your responsibilities

• Patrol environmental rooms and address what is needed for order and cleanliness.
• Keep clean and tidy, sort and manage smaller waste/furniture, and order the pickup of larger items.
• Ensure proper sorting according to local regulations and the company's waste plan and suggest improvements.
• Order extra emptying or cleaning of containers as needed.
• Inform tenants about proper sorting and contribute to the development of simple informational materials.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the area to create comfort and safety.

We are looking for someone who

• has worked as an environmental caretaker - or has experience that the employer assesses as equivalent
• has done the job before and enjoys taking responsibility
• is service-oriented, flexible, and self-driven
• has a B driver's license and good physical ability
• has experience in waste management, environmental work, or property maintenance

Employment form and placement

• Fixed-term employment – from 1/2 2026 (as soon as possible) to 31/1 2027
• Location: Sollentuna, you will work in our residential areas and start from our area office.

About Sollentunahem

Sollentunahem is the largest landlord in Sollentuna municipality. We develop and manage nearly 5,000 rental apartments, over 200 commercial spaces, and about 3,500 garages and parking spaces. The housing stock is located throughout the municipality and consists of production from the 1950s to the 2020s. We have over 70 employees and had a turnover of 463 million kronor in 2024.
