About the position - Train Driver

At High Chaparral, we have our popular train robbery where our guests embark on an interactive journey with real steam locomotives towards sunny Old Mexico. On the way to Old Mexico, the train is stopped and robbed by a gang of bandits. For this to become a reality, we need train drivers who can operate the trains in our adventurous park.

Qualifications

We place great importance on your social skills and sense of service. Previous work experience as a train driver is a merit.

You are responsible, organized, meticulous, unpretentious, and flexible. You work just as well in a group as independently and are not afraid to pitch in where needed. We help each other across departmental boundaries and support each other where needed.

As a person, you are easy to collaborate with and are not afraid to put in the effort when and where needed. Since the position is physically demanding, good basic fitness is a requirement. Good knowledge of the Swedish language is necessary.

The tasks as a train driver consist of operating steam locomotives and assisting with necessary repairs and maintenance of our train sets. We would like you to have knowledge of and/or interest in older technology. Experience with steam-powered machines and railway operations is a merit.
