About the role

In this exciting role, you will have a varied everyday life where you alternate between office work and assignments at our clients' sites - both at their facilities and in the field, nationally and internationally. Here, you will have the chance to combine technical expertise with customer contact and problem-solving in different environments.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a flexible and dynamic role where no day is the same. Travel is a natural part of the job, with about 4-6 overnight stays per month, allowing you to build relationships and create value for our clients on-site.

Your immediate manager is the QA&E Business Area Manager, and you can be based in one of our offices, e.g., Luleå, Sundsvall, Stockholm, Karlstad, or Gothenburg.

As a quality engineer with us, you will be part of an expert team that supports our clients in complex technical environments. Your work will include:

  • Quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) in projects with high technical requirements, from process improvements to the construction of production facilities.
  • Review of welding manufacturing and production of pipes, boilers, and pressure vessels according to applicable standards.
  • Risk assessments and delivery inspections to ensure effective and safe processes.
  • Inspection and monitoring of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with standards such as EN, PED, and ASME.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with several years of experience from heavy industry, such as manufacturing industry, welding production, power and heat industry, petrochemicals, process industry, or paper & pulp. You have a strong understanding of quality assurance and control in areas such as pipes, boilers, pressure vessels, steel structures, and similar, where manufacturing places high demands on technical and regulatory knowledge. Your qualifications:

  • Experience in quality assurance and quality control, particularly in welding production.
  • Technical expertise in materials, welding, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
  • Solid knowledge of regulations and standards such as EN, PED, and ASME.

Certifications such as IWT/IWE and experience in expediting, inspection, and control are advantageous. As a person, you are analytical, structured, and meticulous. You have strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships. Your business acumen and problem-solving ability ensure that you always deliver high quality. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a B driver's license.
