We are looking for a vocational teacher for the Electrical and Energy Program (electrical engineering) at Skärgårdsgymnasiet in Åkersberga. The position is 100% and includes teaching, APL responsibility, and mentorship.

The employment is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period. We are affiliated with a collective agreement via Almega.

We are looking for someone who is qualified and a licensed vocational teacher. You should have good theoretical and practical knowledge in the field. As a person, you are easy to collaborate with and have good communication skills. You are expected to handle students' different conditions and tailor your teaching accordingly. We place great importance on good student contact and how we communicate with each other.

About the schools

Skärgårdsgymnasiet is run by a private principal and currently consists of two high schools (one in Åkersberga and one in Norrtälje) that are mainly focused on vocational preparatory programs.

The school offers programs in Construction and Civil Engineering (house construction, painter, and construction driver), Crafts (hairdresser, stylist), Vehicle and Transport, Electrical and Energy, Restaurant and Food (kitchen, serving, bakery), Sales and Service, Child and Leisure, and Natural Resources (animal care). Approximately 480 students attend the school.
