We are looking for a teacher in English 50% and Mathematics 50%, preferably a full-time position, but two part-time positions are possible.

Katarinaskolan is located in the historic quarters of Uppsala, just below the castle. The school is a humanistic-Christian free school, founded by two teachers and operated by a non-profit foundation. We welcome students from all over Uppsala municipality and surrounding municipalities and are proud to have a good reputation, which means we have more in our queue than we can accommodate. The school has about 400 students in grades 6-9, with 4 classes in each grade.

The school strives to provide each student with the opportunity to develop good knowledge and personal responsibility through personal interaction. With high expectations and good teaching, the teachers help students learn a lot. Good education and pedagogical ability are important both to help all students progress in their studies and to particularly support those who need extra help.

We are looking for someone who is qualified in English and/or Mathematics and who has a strong commitment to providing students with good knowledge.

Class leadership and other teaching duties are also included in the position. For part-time positions, the working days are 3-5 days.
