We are now looking for a personal assistant for work within Stockholm County. The position is flexible and can vary between part-time and full-time. As a personal assistant, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating everyday life for the person you assist. Your work takes place both in the user's home environment and in other locations where the person spends time.

Job Responsibilities:

Your assignment involves meeting the user's needs for support in daily life and contributing to increasing their independence. The tasks include:

• Personal care, including assistance with meals, dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Some medical care.
• Support with leisure activities and daily chores.
• Continuous contact with family and possibly other caregivers.
• Working hours vary between day and evening.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with relevant upper secondary education, such as nursing assistant training or a child and youth program with a focus on disabilities, or other equivalent education. Experience working with people with disabilities is an advantage. We would like you to be:

• Responsible and service-oriented.
• Attentive and have good teamwork skills.
• Able to relate to others and have a good approach that respects the user's integrity.
• Flexible and able to adapt your communication style depending on the situation.
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Those offered the position will need to provide a criminal record extract before employment begins.
