The Jämtland Police Area consists of the investigation section with 7 groups. Investigation groups within the category of serious crimes, surveillance group, investigation on-call group, and station command group.
Two local police areas, LPO Östersund and LPO Jämtland Härjedalen. The police area also has an intervention group, a dog group, operational support, and a police area office.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The assignment as Group Manager for Investigation On-Call 1, On-Call Preliminary Investigation Leader, seizures, and crime coordination.
As the manager of the investigation on-call, you are part of the section's management group, where you collectively are responsible for ensuring that assignments are carried out and for driving the authority's change and development work.
You have particular responsibility for the group's activities within the area of on-call preliminary investigation leader, seizures, and crime coordination, but you represent the entire Police Authority both internally and externally and work to strengthen trust in police operations.
Being a manager and leader within the Police Authority means creating safety and building trust by exercising sincere, courageous, and attentive leadership with confidence in others' competence and ability. You create conditions and work for good relationships that contribute to us acting together based on what is best for citizens and the mission as a whole.
QUALIFICATIONS
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- Police degree in accordance with the Police Ordinance or another relevant academic degree for the function, preferably with a focus on law or legal science
- At least 6 months of continuous experience working as a manager or team leader in the last five years
- Experience in participating in change and development work
- Experience in the relevant operational area
- Good knowledge of the local problem picture
We consider it an advantage if you also have:
- Experience in leading others towards set goals and results
- Experience in management group work
- Experience in participating in/driving collaboration with community actors outside the police organization
- Management and leadership training at the direct level
- Experience in participating in change and development work
- Experience in the relevant operational area
