JOB DESCRIPTION

The Eventful Unit Centrum includes, among other things, the facilities of Slottsskogsvallen Sports Center and Skatås Recreation Center. The unit consists of a unit manager, two team leaders, and about 20 sports workers. We are now looking for a wellness-oriented sports worker for a temporary position of just over 1.5 years based at Slottsskogsvallen. We collaborate across facility boundaries, so you should be prepared to be scheduled at a facility other than your regular placement. Do you enjoy working with people of different ages? As a sports worker at the Centrum Unit, you will work in a broad role consisting of the following tasks:

• be a host for our guests
• reception work
• staff and instruct in the gym
• lead group training
• cleaning

In this job, a computer is used as an important tool. Working hours vary between daytime, evening, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience in leading individuals and groups in training. A requirement for the position is that you are a certified group training instructor. We would also prefer if you are a certified gym instructor. You enjoy meeting new people and working in a wellness environment. A requirement is also that you have service-oriented work experience and have completed secondary education. If you have a post-secondary health education or similar, it is a merit. We expect you to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

For this position, we place great importance on your personal qualities and abilities. To fit the role of sports worker with us, you should be service-oriented and responsible. You understand the importance of collaboration and interaction in the workgroup you will join, but you also have the ability to work independently. You have good administrative skills and can quickly learn new computer systems and routines.
