Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our services based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Your assignment

We are looking for someone who enjoys clinical work and finds it easy to collaborate and discuss with colleagues across all our professional groups. We believe that a reasonable workload and job satisfaction are the keys to long-term sustainability. As a physician, you will receive support from colleagues, have a varied job, and have the opportunity to develop and be challenged medically. You will also have good opportunities for further education.

With us, you will work closely with all professions at the health center. Your tasks will include outpatient work with scheduled visits, minor emergency care, home visits, on-call shifts at Östhammar's emergency clinic, and assisting colleagues and students with your knowledge.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with Swedish authorization. You have an interest in specializing in general medicine or are interested in broadening your experience before your specialist training. The assignment includes continuous supervision with our specialists in general medicine.

You are a good communicator in Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work efficiently, and to be successful in the job, you need to be flexible in your working methods. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Our operations

Storvreta Health Center belongs to the administration of Close Care and Health, Region Uppsala, and is located in a community north of Uppsala. We offer most services within primary care, and everyone at the health center works to provide our patients with the best possible care. The wide variety of patients, from families with children to elderly patients, creates a stimulating and developing workplace. We have about 8200 registered patients and we are 37 employees. You can easily reach Storvreta by train, which takes about 9 minutes from Uppsala central station.

The health center belongs to the administration of Close Care and Health in Region Uppsala. We want you to thrive and develop with us.
