Our Operations

At Folktandvården's orthodontic clinic Vretgränd, we work to provide our patients with the best possible dental care. Here, a team of experienced specialist dentists, orthodontic assistants, and dental nurses collaborate to create a pleasant and professional work environment. The clinic conducts ST training, highly specialized multidisciplinary dental care in collaboration with other dental and healthcare units within the region, and is at the forefront of digitalization. We offer digital consultations and demonstrations, and actively work with digital scanning. Additionally, we are a pilot clinic for an exciting project with digital healthcare meetings in 2025.

Your Mission

As a dental nurse at our orthodontic clinic, you will play a central role in both patient care and the clinic's development. You will work with your own patients and assist specialist dentists during treatments. It is important for us that you are engaged, responsible, and have a desire to grow in your professional role. We offer a stimulating job where you will have the opportunity to develop both your clinical skills and your work responsibilities.

Opportunities for further education and clinical development work are available, and if deemed appropriate, we can offer a further development to orthodontic assistant. Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for an engaged and responsible dental nurse, preferably with a few years of experience in general dentistry and an interest in orthodontics. You enjoy working with patients and have a positive attitude towards developing in a specialist clinic. We also value the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Your Workplace

The clinic offers a modern workplace with experienced colleagues and is centrally located in Uppsala, just a few minutes' walk from Uppsala travel center. In the same building, there is a pedodontics and a general dentistry clinic, which provides a stimulating work environment.
