As the bakery manager, you will help take our bakery to the next level. You will have a leading role and be one of the store's faces, providing our customers with the best service in a professional manner. Our store bakery is very popular and, together with our other fresh products, forms the heart of the store. We bake both bread (yeast products, dough products, and bake-off), pastries, cakes, and desserts. As a baker/pastry chef, you have a significant responsibility to create a vibrant store that constantly exceeds our customers' expectations together with your colleagues. Every customer should feel unique through your sense of service and creativity. We have high ceilings and are always trying to improve, both in terms of our processes and our range. Therefore, we are looking for a responsible person with high energy who can elevate an already good and well-functioning department.

As the bakery manager, you will ensure that our customers are offered a fresh and inviting department every day of the week. You will primarily be responsible for our store bakery where we handle bake-off/dough products, but also for the packaged bread. Your tasks will include everything from bread production to baking cakes and making pastry products. It is important that you have a sense for spotting trends and news to constantly maximize sales in combination with our customers' unique wishes. We expect you to have education or equivalent experience in the profession, and previous experience working with fresh products in a store is highly meritorious.

In your role as bakery manager, in addition to the regular tasks, you will;

• Plan and be responsible for purchases
• Actively work with physical destruction and waste
• Follow up sales against budget
• Lead the staff in the department

You will possess specialized knowledge in the field and ensure that development and operations in the departments are carried out effectively and professionally.

This position is a permanent employment of 40 hours/week with a start date according to agreement. Working hours vary and are scheduled for all days of the week. Recruitment is ongoing, and positions may be filled before the application deadline.

• Previous experience in retail or grocery is highly meritorious
• Baking education or equivalent experience in the profession is a requirement
• Completed high school education is a requirement
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement
• Must be at least 18 years old as work is performed with age-regulated equipment
