Ersta elderly homes are part of Ersta diakoni and operate a total of eight elderly homes in Stockholm and Uppsala. Our goal is to provide our residents with a safe and fulfilling everyday life, with activities, community, and good and enjoyable meals. With us, everyone should feel at home!

Ersta Mariahemmet is an elderly home with 83 apartments distributed across nine departments, five of which are dementia departments and four somatic departments. Ersta Mariahemmet is a short walk from the subway station Sandsborg in Enskededalen. Nearby, there is a small center with a grocery store, library, swimming pool, pharmacy, hairdresser, and seasonal market. It is also close to green areas, and adjacent to the residence, there is a lush, green courtyard where we grill, listen to music, and enjoy freshly baked treats.

About the role

As a nurse with us, you will plan, perform, and develop the care work. Based on individual goals and needs, you will have close collaboration with residents, relatives, care staff, and other colleagues/managers. You will also act as a coach and supervisor for the care staff and be responsible for nursing in one department.

The work is scheduled during the day, and you will work every fourth weekend.

This advertisement refers to a temporary position starting in May 2025 and lasting until March 1, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Your experience

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed nurse
• has good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
• has good computer skills.

We would prefer that you have experience working in elderly care and with individuals with cognitive impairments.
