Ward 22 is located at S:t Görans hospital area, centrally situated in Kungsholmen, close to the city's pulse and with good communication options.

The ward has 14 beds, one of which is reserved for self-chosen admission. It is an exciting job where nurses are responsible for the admission and discharge of patients.

We are committed to conveying a humanistic value base and creating a dignified care environment for our patients. The ward is multiprofessional and consists of nurses, caregivers, doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social workers. By offering motivational conversations, we encourage our patients to engage in activities, exercise, and healthy eating habits. The ward offers morning gymnastics, occupational therapy, regular walks, and training at the clinic's gym.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone interested in patients with psychotic diagnoses. You are a positive person who wants to contribute to the development of the ward together with us. As a nurse, you have a central role as a team leader with primary responsibility for psychiatric care. Responsibilities in the ward include offering conversations, participating in/leaving care planning, medication management, sampling, and documentation in the data journal system TakeCare. The job also includes close collaboration with Alvik outpatient clinic.

Psychiatry is continuously evolving, and Northern Stockholm Psychiatry is constantly striving for modern and innovative working methods; therefore, participation in the ward's quality and development work is a given for our employees.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse with an interest in psychotic disorders in both the acute phase and more long-term. Previous experience in psychiatric care or specialist training in psychiatry is advantageous but not required. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

As a person, you are innovative, solution-focused, and responsible. You have good collaboration skills and are loyal to your assignment, but above all, you have a strong interest in working with psychotic patients.
