We are looking for a summer job supervisor

We are looking for a supervisor to work with youth during the summer. The youth will work outdoors with simple park maintenance tasks.

In the role of supervisor, you are an important part of creating a meaningful and fun summer job for the youth. Your main task is to guide the youth in their work with park maintenance. You will plan the workday for the group, distribute tasks, and provide support and coaching throughout the work process.

The youth will, among other things, clean residential areas, paint, clear brush and bushes, weed, and perform other similar tasks. As a supervisor, you are present and provide continuous guidance. You also have support from a manager and other staff who are available if needed.

The summer jobs are divided into three different periods:

Period 1: June 16 – July 4

Period 2: July 7 – July 25

Period 3: July 28 – August 15.

The person we are looking for will supervise approximately 10-12 youth distributed over the three periods (three weeks). As a team leader, we see that you are a structured, patient, and energetic person who enjoys being present and spreading enthusiasm.

Requirements

Experience in park maintenance/gardening

Driver's license B
