Job Description

As a spinning machine technician with us, you will work with our advanced machines for the production of stone wool insulation. You will primarily work with regular preventive maintenance to optimize machine performance and minimize production downtime, but more urgent maintenance tasks will also occur. Troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs of mechanical systems are common tasks.

Since all work is based on work orders, writing reports after completed work and working in the SAP system will also be part of your daily routine. As our facility in Hällekis is facing an exciting future, you will also be part of the project group for new spinning machines in the future. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations and solving technical problems. You will work at Paroc's facility in Hällekis, but travel to our workshop in Skövde may occur, hence the requirement for a driver's license.

You will primarily work daytime from 07:00 to 15:30, but shift work may occur.

Qualifications

We prefer that you have experience as a vehicle technician or machine mechanic and have a good understanding of mechanical systems and machine technology. Experience working with heavy machinery, preventive maintenance, or basic electrical knowledge is an advantage.

You have a good ability to quickly and effectively solve technical problems. Of course, you are meticulous and have a safety-conscious work approach; safety comes first. As a person, you are cooperative and communicative as there is a lot of collaboration with both your colleague in the workshop and other production staff. You also have a good sense of order and tidiness, 5S, and enjoy working with continuous improvements.
