At Östersund Dairy, we produce cheese, including family favorites like Storsjö, Jämtgård, Edamer, and Gouda. The dairy in Östersund is a specialty dairy where we also produce various flavored cheeses under the brand Boxholmsost.

We are looking for four operators for our cheese production, packaging department, for summer jobs during the spring and summer of 2025. We welcome anyone interested in working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As an operator, you will play an important role in controlling and monitoring the manufacturing process as well as conducting planned inspections. You will ensure that production follows the planning with high quality, as well as participate in operator maintenance, sampling, and hygiene work. Both hygiene and safety are of utmost importance in our operations and permeate all parts of the work.

Who are you?

• At least 18 years old

• Highly engaged, works independently and meticulously

• Enjoys a role with responsibility and collaboration

• Likes to work in a fast-paced environment and towards set goals

• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, to follow work and safety instructions

• Able to work shifts, which means working at all times of the day, every day of the week

Main responsibilities for the Packaging Operator

• Control and monitor the manufacturing process, conduct planned inspections

• Ensure that production occurs according to planning and with high quality

• Maintain high production hygiene

• Replenish materials in the machine and maintain and handle the equipment

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in food production, industrial or warehouse work, but not a must. You will receive thorough training from our experienced operators; the most important thing is that you have a willingness to learn.

It is important that you can work shifts full-time throughout the holiday period from week 26 to week 33 and participate in training from around week 20.
