At Östersund Dairy, we produce cheese, including family favorites such as Storsjö, Jämtgård, Edamer, and Gouda. The dairy in Östersund is a specialty dairy where we also produce various flavored cheeses under the brand Boxholmsost.

We are looking for an operator for our cheese production, reception, and processing department, for summer jobs during the spring and summer of 2025. We welcome anyone interested in working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As an operator, you will play an important role in controlling and monitoring the manufacturing process as well as conducting planned controls. You will ensure that production follows the schedule with high quality, and participate in operator maintenance, sampling, and hygiene work. Both hygiene and safety are of utmost importance in our operations and permeate all parts of the work.

Who are you?

• At least 18 years old

• Highly engaged, works independently and carefully

• Thrives in a role with responsibility and collaboration

• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and towards set goals

• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, to follow work and safety instructions

• Available to work daytime 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Main tasks for the operator in reception and processing.

• Control and monitor the manufacturing process, conduct planned controls

• Ensure that production occurs according to plan and with high quality

• Maintain high production hygiene

• Replenish materials in the machine and maintain and manage the equipment

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in food production, industrial or warehouse work, but not a must. You will receive thorough training from our experienced operators; the most important thing is that you have a willingness to learn.

It is important that you can work full-time throughout the holiday period from week 26 to week 33 and participate in training from approximately week 25.
