Gästrike Biluthyrning AB is a well-established company in trailer service and repair. We are known for delivering fast and reliable service to our customers. We are now looking for a skilled and dedicated trailer mechanic who wants to contribute to our continued success and help our customers keep their trailers in top condition.

About the position:

As a trailer mechanic, you will perform repair, maintenance, and service work on various types of trailers. You will work on both minor and major repairs, and it is important that you have a good technical understanding and can work both independently and as part of our team. You will also have a fully equipped service van that you will use to carry out repairs and maintenance on trailers directly at the customer's location. You will be out in the field, traveling in Gävleborg, Hälsingland, Dalarna, Uppland, and your technical skills and ability to solve problems on-site will be crucial.

Job responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and service on trailers at customer locations • Handle both mechanical and electrical repairs (wheels, brakes, lights, suspension, etc.) • Drive the service van and transport equipment and spare parts to customers • Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site • Communicate with customers to provide status updates and advice • Document and report all completed work • Work according to applicable safety regulations and quality standards

Your profile:

• Previous experience as a mechanic, preferably with trailers or in vehicle repairs • Good technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems • Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site • BE driver's license is a plus • Detail-oriented and responsible, with the ability to provide good customer service • Good physical condition, as the job may involve heavy lifting • Flexible and self-driven with the ability to handle varying tasks.
