We at WorkShop are now looking for a Sales Associate who wants to work extra as needed and during the summer for a new exciting store concept in Uppsala! Ica wants to increase its focus on pets and is therefore launching its new pet concept Gaston. Are you a driven, social, and flexible person who enjoys both sales and providing customers with first-class service? Are you also interested in retail and love pets? Then this could be the job for you!

About the role:

As a sales associate at Gaston, you will market and demonstrate the store's products while acting as an ambassador for the brand. You contribute to a first-class customer experience by having a broad knowledge of the products and a positive attitude. You will work in the daily operations of the store in close collaboration with colleagues and the store manager. We will provide you with all the necessary product training and knowledge needed to create a high level of service and customer experience. Your tasks mainly consist of the following:

• Providing the store's customers with world-class service and support
• Professional advice regarding the store's products
• Handling customer and product orders as well as inventory
• Cash management
• Participating in various events carried out by the store

About you:

You are a person with a lot of energy, who is good at communicating and sees problem-solving as part of everyday life. You value order and structure. Furthermore, we see it as an advantage if you have worked with similar products or related industries before. You have an interest in pets and retail and are motivated by new challenges, personal responsibility, and driven to achieve good results together with your colleagues. Additionally, we see that you have the following qualifications:

• Good experience in service and sales
• Experience in selling pet products
• Advantageous if you have experience in nail trimming
• Flexible, solution-oriented, and proactive
• A natural spreader of joy and relationship builder
• Good language skills in Swedish and English

Workplace: Uppsala

Start: April

Employment period: Part-time, evening and weekend work may occur
