Operational Buyer

Are you passionate about freedom with responsibility and thrive in a dynamic environment? Do you want to become our next Operational Buyer? At Lantmännen Maskin, you will work closely with an engaged team and represent the market's strongest brands in agricultural machinery. We are part of Lantmännen's global group – where we take responsibility together, from farm to table.

Your Role

As an Operational Buyer, you will be part of a team of four in the central department for spare parts purchasing. Lantmännen Maskin purchases spare parts and accessories from around 150 different suppliers. You will have primary responsibility for a number of suppliers and manage the entire flow concerning them regarding planning, operational purchasing, delivery monitoring, and invoice management. Furthermore, you will ensure the highest possible delivery service and support to our own facilities. In dialogue with our product managers, you will assist with materials for negotiations and follow-ups with our suppliers. The position is based at Lantmännen Maskin's office in Malmö. You will report to the Head of Supply Chain - Klas Merkel.

What You Need to Succeed and Thrive

You have:

  • A post-secondary education in purchasing or logistics.
  • Experience in administrative work, preferably within operational purchasing/ordering or order management/distribution.
  • Experience in service work, where you have built customer relationships.
  • Experience working in a larger business system.
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite.
  • Good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is also advantageous if you have:

  • Experience working in the M3 business system.

You are:

  • Accustomed to creating structure and planning your work in a way that allows you to prioritize between different tasks effectively.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to independently drive your work forward, where you can also find new paths.
  • Service-minded with a strong customer focus and a knack for building and maintaining relationships.
  • Concerned about the team and unpretentious in supporting/receiving support from your colleagues, so that you can move forward as a group.

Of course, you share our values – Openness, Holistic View, Action Orientation – and our promise to take responsibility from farm to table.

What We Offer You

Lantmännen is a large international group and has a unique breadth in our operations. This means we can offer development opportunities with varying focuses for both specialists and generalists within different companies and industries in more than 20 countries. We actively work with internal mobility and want to contribute to employees developing and feeling engaged every day. Together we reimagine the world of grain!
