As a Junior Buyer for external brands, you are part of an engaged category/purchasing team that currently consists of a strategic buyer and an operational buyer. Together, you work to ensure a profitable and competitive assortment of external brands in collaboration with our partners/suppliers, which includes the categories ready to drink, ready to eat, and supplements. In this role, you will contribute to both sales, profitability, and inventory management, but without having full responsibility for these areas. You work based on the strategic buyer's guidelines and action plan, focusing on executing tactical purchases and ensuring an efficient supply chain.

Your job responsibilities will include:

• Assortment work: Analyze, revise, and optimize the current assortment and introduce new brands and products.
• Inventory management: Ensure effective inventory turnover by identifying and managing slow movers and deadstock.
• Purchasing strategy: Execute tactical purchases in line with the overall strategy, including campaigns and volume purchases.
• Internal coordination: Support various departments with relevant information and ensure smooth communication regarding assortment and purchases.
• Campaign planning: Design campaigns in line with the overall marketing plan.
• Data collection and analysis: Collect item data, conduct analyses, and initiate actions to improve sales and profitability.
• Launch work: Drive in registration files, texts, and images ahead of product launches.

ideally has a university degree, preferably in purchasing, economics, or similar. Alternatively, other education in purchasing. You have some years of experience in a purchasing role and master several of the tasks mentioned above. We prefer that you have a background from companies in grocery retail, e-commerce, or similar fields. You preferably have knowledge of dietary supplements, capsules, vitamins, etc., but at least a genuine interest in fitness and health-related products.

Furthermore, you are an advanced user of Excel and have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

You enjoy working in a business-oriented role and can be both questioning and proactive in your actions. You are analytical, data-driven, and have the ability to understand relationships and flows. You work goal-oriented and structured and have an eye for both the big picture and details. In this role, you will have a large contact area, both internally and externally, and you should therefore be a good communicator and skilled at creating and maintaining relationships. You are fearless and drive your work forward in a responsible and decisive manner.
