We are now starting a new operation within general psychiatry in Örebro. A specialist psychiatric care team, known as a SPOT team.

SPOT is a person-centered and flexible form of care that provides benefits for the patient's well-being when frequent care interventions can be provided at home. This care model also allows for increased support and contact with the patient's relatives. Providing support at home enables the patient to continue living a more independent life in their home environment even during periods when their well-being declines. For others, it may mean the opportunity to return home earlier from hospital care. When the patient's condition improves and the team's intervention concludes, the patient returns to their regular outpatient contact within psychiatry. The care model is flexible, allowing patients in a more acute phase to receive daily home visits and support conversations. As the patient improves, the support can be reduced.

Care Assistant/ Nursing Assistant with a focus on psychiatry for the General Psychiatry SPOT team

Job Responsibilities

With us, you will become an integral part of the care team. You will have collegial camaraderie and the opportunity for significant patient contact. You have a genuine interest in individuals with mental health issues and how, through teamwork, both internally and externally, and together with relatives, you can support the individual in returning to life outside the ward. We work in teams with coordinators, doctors, nurses, and care assistants.

As we within Psychiatry care for our patients and value patient safety highly, we will request extracts from the suspicion and criminal records from the National Police Board in connection with the recruitment. Qualifications

We welcome you who are trained as a care assistant/nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on psychiatry according to the previous program structure, or are trained as a nursing assistant within the current program structure. You may also have completed a care assistant training as a YH education. To assess employability, transcripts of your healthcare education and proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare of protected professional title must be attached to your application.

You have good self-awareness and are a secure person. You have an innovative, reflective, and thoughtful approach. We will adapt your competence plan based on you and your needs. What you do not know, we will teach you - together we create an attractive workplace. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A driver's license (B) is a requirement.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

The application should include a CV, a personal letter, and transcripts of completed healthcare courses, as well as any proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare of a protected professional title. Other certificates, transcripts, diplomas, etc. should be provided at a possible interview.
