The Role

As our current Health and Safety – and Project Coordinator is retiring after the summer, we are now looking for his successor.

For us, health, safety, environmental, and sustainability issues are of the highest priority as we strive for the safest, most secure, and pleasant workplace possible. In this key role, you will help and support the organization in these areas. This may involve ensuring working methods and processes internally within Volvo Buses, as well as collaborating externally with authorities and other experts.

The location is Säffle, and you will have a lot of collaboration with corresponding functions globally within Volvo Buses.

You will report to the Site Manager in Säffle and be a member of the local management team.

Who Are You?

It is certainly desirable if you have knowledge and experience in the field, but your personality and interest in the area are also important to us.

Therefore, we believe you work in a structured manner, are meticulous, and have the ability to coach and naturally educate the organization. As the area is under constant development, it is also important to continuously develop your knowledge and stay updated on the latest findings and ensure that our methods and routines are up to date.

Regular reporting to authorities and within the Volvo Group is also part of the assignment.

In addition to health and safety work, you will also lead other projects that are important for our strategic development over time. Here, your strengths and experiences can reach their full potential.

You thrive in an environment where you work closely with the business and see new opportunities and want to make a difference. You enjoy thinking strategically and have the ability to communicate clearly and simply in both English and Swedish.

Furthermore, we believe you have a university degree, preferably with a few years of experience in similar tasks.

Who Are We?

At our site in Säffle, 45 people work. Here in our unique service market unit, we provide and manufacture spare parts for Volvo Buses Europe. We customize, paint, and restore collision damage, and our customers range from sole proprietorships to large passenger transport companies. We also perform assignments for other departments within Volvo Buses, such as various marketing companies, quality, and product development.
