Job Description
Are you currently working as an installation technician, service technician, or electrician and curious about stepping into a more office-based role? Do you want to work with the systems and software behind the hardware you have experience with?
We are now looking for a Support Technician for Securitas Connect's support department for our packaged business solutions. Here you will combine your technical expertise with problem-solving and support in an exciting and developing role.
As a Support Technician, you will act as technical support during the installation, maintenance, and use of our alarm packages and the platform that controls them. Together with field technicians, you will ensure that the components are integrated and configured according to requirements, as well as collaborate with salespeople, project managers, and other internal colleagues to secure delivery to our corporate clients. A large part of the support you will provide involves technical knowledge of how alarm installation works, and therefore it is required that you have basic knowledge of traditional alarm installation and/or electrical installation.
In addition to technical support, you will play an important role in how the platform operates. You will conduct training and presentations for both customers and colleagues, with the goal of enhancing their knowledge and efficiency.
As a Support Technician, you will belong to a group of 7 people, all based in Malmö. Everyone in the team works in technical support, and you can be sure that they share your interest in technology. As the department is in a development phase, you will have the opportunity to influence the work and design of processes, structures, and Securitas's new technologies.
Your responsibilities include:
- Providing technical advice and support in the user platform
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Technical support for subcontractors during installation
- Training and supporting colleagues such as salespeople, project managers, and other internal staff
- Conducting simple presentations for end customers

Requirements
Essential:
- Basic knowledge of traditional alarm installation or electrical installation, such as wired alarm systems.
- Experience in technical support on-site and/or remote
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Desirable:
- Good knowledge of the alarm.com platform
- Good knowledge of hardware such as Support Technicians, e.g., climac, IQ4, or IQ Pro
- Good knowledge of IP cameras, video analysis, access control systems/door control
- Network knowledge, wired and wireless
You are a problem solver who enjoys varied tasks and has a structured working method. You prioritize correctly and always strive to provide the best possible service to those you encounter.

- The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period
