About Gothenburg RoRo Terminal

Gothenburg RoRo Terminal is located in the Port of Gothenburg at the mouth of the Göta River. Several vessels from various destinations in Europe call at the port regularly each week. Gothenburg RoRo Terminal specializes in ro-ro and vehicle handling and is an important part of the Swedish import and export chain.

About the position

As a Dispatcher, you will be a key player in the team and responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring efficient operations. You will report to the Bridge Manager. Responsibilities and tasks

• Plan and lead the work at the terminal according to set goals.
• Coordinate resources for smooth operations.
• Ensure a safe working environment according to applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with relevant departments for effective personnel planning.
• Be the point of contact between teams, customers, and partners.

The position is a summer temporary position with a chance for extension, starting as agreed. It is important that you are available throughout the summer.

Working hours may be scheduled during the day, evening, and night, so it is important that you can work flexible hours.

About you

The role places high expectations on your ability to provide good service and interact with both customers and colleagues in a professional manner. We are looking for someone who thrives on new challenges and actively wants to contribute to the development of the business. Since the terminal handles changing conditions on a daily basis with short notice, it is important that you have a good balance between structure and flexibility.

For the role, you need to have the ability to engage teams and work in a structured manner, as well as have a customer focus and a desire to achieve results. You should have a clear, solution-oriented communication and leadership style.

Requirements for the position

• Previous experience in a leadership role.
• Good computer skills and experience with planning systems.
• High school education with a focus on economics/administration/logistics.
• Fluent in Swedish and good understanding of English.
