Job Advertisement: Customer Support Agent at BookBeat

If you are motivated by providing excellent service and are fluent in Danish, there is now an opportunity for you to take on the role of an agent in BookBeat's support team. This is a perfect part-time job for students as you can work from home with a flexible schedule. We welcome your application!

ABOUT THE POSITION

Currently, BookBeat's support team consists of a mix of German, Swedish, Polish, Danish, and Finnish-speaking support agents who work together to provide the best possible service to BookBeat users. BookBeat is growing and needs to expand the Danish part of the support team. The need is long-term, and shifts are primarily scheduled during weekdays, but weekends may also be required. The role is flexible as you can work from anywhere and is therefore not tied to an office. We are looking for someone who can work at least 20 hours a week and 1 weekend day most weeks.

You will be offered

As customer support, you will primarily respond to questions from Danish, Swedish, and English-speaking customers in BookBeat's web-based support system. These may include questions about how the service works, technical issues, account settings, sales inquiries, etc. To assist you, there are pre-made email templates for the most common questions that you can use in your responses to customers. Your tasks will therefore include:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responding to incoming inquiries regarding content, account settings, and sales from the company's customers via email
  • Answering customer questions in BookBeat's social channels

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Is a student and has at least one year left of your studies
  • Has previous experience in customer service and administrative work
  • Has excellent knowledge of Danish, Swedish, and English, both spoken and written, as all external communication will occur in all these languages

It is an advantage if you:

  • Have excellent knowledge of Norwegian, Finnish, German, Polish, or Dutch

To succeed in this role, you have the following personal qualities:

As a person, you are interested in literature and skilled at expressing yourself in writing. You are curious to learn how things work and have a good sense of customer service and customer interaction. Since the work is independent, it also requires good problem-solving skills and the courage to take your own initiatives.
