Social Services, IFO

The Social Services, IFO, is responsible for ensuring that the municipality can offer the social services required by the Social Services Act. This can include various types of care interventions, family law issues, or financial assistance.

We are now looking for a social worker for financial assistance on a temporary basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will investigate, assess the right to assistance, and communicate your decision to the citizen regarding financial assistance.

Together with the citizen, we work to find solutions that strengthen the individual's resources and opportunities for self-sufficiency and an independent life. In this work, it is essential to collaborate both internally and externally with other authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a social worker or has a post-secondary education that the employer considers equivalent. Previous experience in governmental work is an advantage.

You should have a good knowledge of current legislation and the functions of society at large. Personal qualities and abilities that we value highly include personal maturity, security, and self-awareness. You should have a curious approach and be open to finding new solutions, be able to work independently as well as in a group, and need to be structured, able to document, and communicate well both in writing and verbally.

A driver's license is required as travel in the job occurs.
