Job Responsibilities

The most fun summer job awaits you! Together with an engaged team, you will be responsible for marketing Trelleborg and the South Coast to visitors from near and far. Our digital visitor service is often the first point of contact for curious tourists planning their trip through Sweden.

Your daily tasks include welcoming visitors via phone, chat, email, and social media, where you help them find the right experiences based on their wishes. You will also update our databases, maintain contact with the local tourism industry, and support our summer workers in their tasks.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you need to have good knowledge of Trelleborg, Söderslätt, and tourist attractions in Skåne — this is important as you will be an ambassador for our region and help visitors discover all the fantastic things the area has to offer.

You have excellent skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as you will communicate daily with both local and international guests. Knowledge of German or other languages is a plus, as we meet visitors from all over the world.

We prefer that you have education or experience in service or tourism. Your experience helps us provide our guests with the best possible service and create memorable experiences.

Since a large part of our communication is digital, it is important that you have good knowledge of social media and feel comfortable working independently in channels like chat, email, Instagram, and Facebook.

A driver's license and access to a car are required, as the job may involve travel within the municipality and region to participate in various activities and events.

As a person, you are outgoing, positive, and have a strong service mindset. You enjoy meeting new people and are both flexible and structured — qualities that make you thrive in a role where no day is the same.

Other Information

The position runs from May to September. The work is scheduled and also includes evening and weekend shifts. To be considered for the position, you need to be available to work the entire summer and participate in our training days on May 22, 23, and 24. Please note that vacation will not be granted during the summer.
